Frank specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, takeovers and joint ventures. His work focuses on advising financial sponsors and corporate clients in transactions across Europe and Asia.
Frank is one of the principal corporate partners working on matters for Goldman Sachs, Cerberus and Paine & Partners on their European investments, and has also advised Warburg Pincus, Hellman & Friedman and other private equity funds.
He advises a number of international corporate clients across a variety of sectors, having acted for BAWAG, Colgate-Palmolive, Compass Group, Expedia, ICI, Ilim Pulp, Invensys, Lloyds Group, Low & Bonar, LVMH, P&O, Powergen, Prysmian and Schlumberger.
Frank also works on complex financial restructurings across a wide range of industries, including most recently the restructurings of Zim Integrated Shipping, the Gladedale property group and Polestar. Frank was also part of the Freshfields team advising the Bank of England on various financial institution workouts, including Bradford & Bingley, Landsbanki and Kaupthing.
